Wow..2081 MB mailbox!
As if 1GB was not enough, gmail has just upgraded all its users’ mailboxs capacity to a whopping 2GB.
When it comes to mail service, Google surely means business!.. This unheard of kind of storage, in the world of free email services, adds to all the great features gmail already has. They are not even stopping at 2GB, according to their latest official statement:
G is for growth
Storage is an important part of email, but that doesn’t mean you should have to worry about it. To celebrate our one-year birthday, we’re giving everyone one more gigabyte. But why stop the party there? Our plan is to continue growing your storage beyond 2GBs by giving you more space as we are able. We know that email will only become more important in people’s lives, and we want Gmail to keep up with our users and their needs. From Gmail, you can expect more.
I’ve already fallen in love with gmail. Their prime advantage over all other email services, to me, is not the massive storage they offer you, but rather the unique spam blockage. While in services like hotmail you hardly find your important emails, because they are overcrowded with junk emails, in gmail: junk emails hardly ever show up in your inbox. Without anything to do from your side, almost all spam mail get automatically filtered out into a spam folder. The way they recognize spam is truly amazing, and leaves all other mail services way behind.
Btw, if you do not have a Gmail account yet, and need a Gmail invite, I have 50 to give away, as a courtesy to my readers. Please find the link downwards 🙂
