CNG for your car

July 14th, 2008

CNG (compressed natural gas) is very cheap in Egypt. One cubic meter costs only LE 0.45 (in USD: about 8 cents)! which is way cheaper than gazoline at LE 1.75 per liter (octane 90). Plus, a meter of gas makes more kilometers (mileage) for the car, about double actually. Driving from Cairo to Alexandria, Egypt (200km) costs LE 5 in gas, compared to LE 35 in gasoline, that’s 7 times cheaper! Read the rest of this entry »

Firefox login passwords remember problem fix

February 14th, 2008

Firefox sometimes somehow refuses to save your settings. If you used more that one login info for a given site, firefox will stop auto filling your username and password. So, when you want to correct this, the procedure should be to go, from firefox menu, to: Tools > Options > Security > Show Passwords, then remove both login entries for that site. But sometimes, somehow, firefox fail to remove those entries. If you checked again, after restarting firefox, and found that both entries are still there, then you need to do a manual remove.
